The Waynesville High School girls’ golf team finished third in a quadrangular meet Thursday.
Camdenton won with 200 followed by Jefferson City with 207, Waynesville 240 and Osage 241.
Cassie Hibbert led the Lady Tigers with 58. Also for WHS Autumn Moore shot 60, Christina Jennings and April Dowell each shot 61 and Kristin Pryor 63.
“We’re in the last two weeks of the season, with conference next Tuesday, and we need some players to step up their game,” said coach Bob Holland. “We need to minimize our penalty strokes, which means to manage the course better.”
In the junior varsity meet Jefferson City won with 215 followed by Camdenton with 235 and Waynesville 254.
Jorgie Dacamara and Merce’das Morgan each shot 61 for the Lady Tiger jayvee squad while Natalia Reyes shot 63, Tori Dacamara 69 and Symphony Campbell 72.
The Lady Tigers are scheduled to play at the Horton Golf Course in Springfield on Tuesday in the Ozark Conference Meet, starting at 9 a.m.
