WAYNESVILLE— The Lebanon Lady Yellow Jackets’ first Ozark Conference win came at the expense of the Waynesville Lady Tigers on Monday night.

Lebanon used a 15-point outing from 5-8 senior forward Krenda McClure to defeat Waynesville 50-41 and improve its record to 8-12 overall and 1-3 in the Ozark Conference.

Waynesville (now 8-11, 1-3 in conference play) was led by 5-10 senior forward Mariah Wilder, who scored 11 points.

Lauren Snobl and Lanicia Lawrence added eight each for Waynesville while Niki House and 5-9 senior forward Alicia Cook scored six apiece.

The Lady Tigers travel to Springfield this Thursday for another Ozark Conference matchup, this time against Hillcrest. Hillcrest is 5-14 and 0-4 in league play.

Waynesville won Monday's junior varsity game 54-37.

Danielle Williams scored 12 points to lead the JV Lady Tigers and freshman Lesley Larson added 11.

Sophomore Jenna Millsap led Lebanon with 12.
