The Waynesville 8th grade boys basketball team defeated Camdenton Monday night, 38-32, in pool play of the Rolla Tournament. Christain Vanderson scored 12 points, Kellieon Williams eight, Michael Powell and Michael Johnston six, Kevin Hankton four and Nate Rebuck two. The Tigers will play Jefferson City Lewis and Clark Middle on Wednesday night.

Last Thursday the 'A' team defeated Rolla 43-42.

The Tigers overcame a 15 point deficit going into the fourth quarter, culminating when Nick Crabtree hit a shot with five seconds left in the game to seal the win for Waynesville. He finished the game with four points.

Vanderson led the Tigers in that game with 15 points, while Trent Simpson added 13, Williams six and Powell 5.

The 'B' team also won 40-16. Walter Jeter and Zaire White scored 10 points, while Marcus Hibbert added seven, Michael Johnston five, Brandon Ruess and Chanan Demery four each and Joe Murray two.
