The Waynesville softball team’s season may hinge on how far its pitching goes.
But right now the Tigers have little depth at the position. Waynesville has just one pitcher returning, senior Jazmyne Hayes.
Head coach Kelly Jackson said her performance this season will be a key factor in the team’s success.
“We’re really working on her to get a few more pitches and having a little more command on her pitches,” Jackson said.
