A number of area basketball games have been postponed for Friday night due to snow.
The Waynesville High School boys basketball game against Joplin has been rescheduled for Friday at 2 p.m. The courtwarming festivities, originally scheduled to take place between the junior varsity and varsity games of the Joplin game, have been moved to Friday, Feb. 19 when Waynesville takes on Springfield Kickapoo.
In Crocker, homecoming festivities scheduled for Friday have also been moved. The Crocker boys basketball team was to play the Iberia on Friday night but homecoming has been rescheduled for next Friday, Feb. 12 against Belle. The Iberia game has yet to be rescheduled.

The Newburg boys basketball team, scheduled to play at Cuba, will be made up Wednesday, Feb. 10 at 6 p.m.
Dixon's varsity boys and girls basketball teams, along with the junior varsity boys, were scheduled to host Licking in a triple-header Friday, but that game has also been moved, makeup date is TBA.
Laquey's boys basketball game against Stoutland has been postponed with a makeup date TBA
